It's a Trek 3700, in grey and pink (I know, eww, but its very 50s and they didn't have another color), 13 inch frame. The Trek 7100 (the comfort model) they put me on didn't fit me at all - my tippy toes barely touched the ground, and that was in the smallest size with the seat all the way down.
I road the bike to the library, and my main problem is trying to find a happy medium between my feet hitting the ground so that I can start and stop, and then feeling like I have enough room to pedal without my knees feeling squarshed and ouchy. I'm going to try tennis shoes next - first I was in flip flops at the store, and then I put on my comfy mary janes for the library, but they didn't give me much height. But over all, it fits me great- my reach to the handles is awesome. It's just the whole short leg thing.
I also got a bike rack and a saddlebag to cram stuff in for the train (or books for the library). I got the fancy u lock thing, which is kind of a pain in the ass, but I'll get the hang of getting my front tire off and everything locked up.

So, the new tenants moved in downstairs. I haven't met them, but Kevin has, and he says they are nice.
There is one problem. Their dog. They have a new puppy, and are apparently crate training it. When its "parents" aren't home, the puppy barks. Incessantly. For a good long awhile. It's been going for at least 45 minutes at this point. Same as yesterday morning. And, of course, we can hear it, because their kitchen is under our kitchen, and next to our bedroom. I'm in the office right now and can hear it. I can usually hear it in the living room.
ARGH.
