For those of you who didn't see, I got a bike this weekend! woo!
So, I rode it to the train this morning (0.6 miles - am I not the stud?), but it was the middle of a huge massive thunderstorm, so I got soaked. As in, I'm sitting in cheap work out gear bought at walgreens with no underwear on soaked. My shirt is hopeless for today, but I might be able to wear my skort home.
So, what do you wear for the rain? It seems like the whole bike poncho/cape thing is a thing of the past, but honestly, do I want to put on a full huge rain suit for a .6 mile ride? I haven't planned on putting on "bike clothes", really - I figured I'd just bike in my oh so casual every day work clothes.
Speaking of which, here is my route to the train. Oh, how far I bike. To my credit, there is a not nice hill as you sneak into the children's museum parking lot. ;)
